Klaris Labs ("Klaris," "we," "us," or "our") builds an AI-powered platform purpose-built for life insurance agencies and brokerages. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have, both when you visit this website (klarislabs.com) and, at a high level, when your organization uses the Klaris platform.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide to us. When you book a demo, request information, or otherwise contact us, we collect what you share directly, for example, your name, email address, phone number, company name, and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically. Visiting our website generates standard technical information, such as pages viewed and general usage patterns, through our hosting provider's server logs.
Data within the Klaris platform. When your agency or brokerage uses the Klaris product, we process the case, policy, carrier, and agency data your organization submits to the platform, under the terms of your organization's agreement with Klaris. That data is used solely to provide and support the Klaris platform for your organization. See "How we protect platform data" below.

3. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers who help us operate our business and the Klaris platform (for example, scheduling, hosting, and communications tools), under confidentiality obligations
- Authorities, where required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Klaris, our customers, or others
4. How we protect platform data
Klaris is built to handle sensitive insurance data responsibly:
- Single-tenant architecture
- Customer data is not used to train models
- Outputs trace back to underlying sources
- SOC 2 Type II certification in progress

5. Data retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide our services, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, and meet our legal and contractual obligations. Customer platform data is retained and deleted according to the terms of your organization's agreement with Klaris.
6. Your choices
You can contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it, subject to our legal and contractual obligations. You can also opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting us.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the effective date above whenever we do.
